Meet the Team

Photo of Brian PlaceBrian Place – Founder

Brian Place is the Principal, Founder and Chief Cat Herder (CCH) of BDPNetworks. After years of working for other firms, he knew there had to be a better way to manage IT Services for medium-sized companies. So in 2001 Brian decided to do it himself and started BDPNetworks.

Brian enjoys working with his clients to create the right Managed IT Solutions that keep companies moving forward and take the IT management stress off a company’s plate. Service, reliability and security are the foundation of BDPNetworks and values that Brian has instilled in each employee.

When Brian isn’t busy at work he can be found developing a new cocktail, weightlifting (to work off said cocktails), cooking or traveling. Brian and his husband live in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood along with two cats, who occasionally grace them with their presence. Brian is a ridiculously huge fan of Disney World, EPCOT and all of the ways that Walt Disney made sure everyone who walks into the “Happiest Place on Earth” has the best day ever. He knows all the secrets, best food, and drink spots at each Disney Park in the US.

Picture of Jason LovejoyJason Lovejoy – Service Manager

Jason Lovejoy is the Service Manager here at BDPNetworks. He moved from a level I engineer to a level II engineer (Senior Engineer) in a little over a year because he’s just that good. Jason has his BAS in Information Technology and Administrative Management from Central Washington University. He also has his AAS in Network Administration from Highline College where he met Melanie, who encouraged bringing him on board here. Prior to BDPNetworks Jason was the IT guy for a retail company and has brought over five years of internal IT department experience with him.

Jason lives in Federal Way and grew up in South King County. He has three roommates and they live in the house his grandfather built in the 1960’s. He’s the third generation to live in the home. The most recent roommate is Mungo, Jason’s Brazilian Mastiff/German Shepherd Mix dog. Mungo is still growing, but will be 120 lb. when full grown, and he rocks a sweet jerry curl mohawk! A self proclaimed computer nerd, when Jason isn’t busy at work he’s fixing computers and playing video games.

Picture of Jordan RossJordan Ross – Service Engineer

Jordan Ross is a Service Engineer here at BDPNetworks. He’s advanced in the IT industry due to his genuine love and interest in IT, and his great service to clients. Jordan has held support and help desk positions, a Network Administration role and before joining BDPNetworks he was an Infrastructure Manager. Jordan also tends to geek out on cloud computing and is really into the cloud movement and computer networking (for fun even…)

Jordan is originally from Nebraska and after following his family down to Florida, he grew tired of the sun and warm beaches, and moved to Seattle with his wife, a Northwest native. Jordan and his wife have a Doberman named Duke and they enjoy all the outdoor activities that the Northwest has to offer. They hike, camp and Jordan’s even starting to get into fly fishing.
