Meet the Team
Brian Place is the Principal, Founder and Chief Cat Herder (CCH) of BDPNetworks. After years of working for other firms, he knew there had to be a better way to manage IT Services for medium-sized companies. So in 2001 Brian decided to do it himself and started BDPNetworks.
Brian enjoys working with his clients to create the right Managed IT Solutions that keep companies moving forward and take the IT management stress off a company’s plate. Service, reliability and security are the foundation of BDPNetworks and values that Brian has instilled in each employee.
When Brian isn’t busy at work he can be found developing a new cocktail, weightlifting (to work off said cocktails), cooking or traveling. Brian and his husband live in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood along with two cats, who occasionally grace them with their presence. Brian is a ridiculously huge fan of Disney World, EPCOT and all of the ways that Walt Disney made sure everyone who walks into the “Happiest Place on Earth” has the best day ever. He knows all the secrets, best food, and drink spots at each Disney Park in the US.
Jason Lovejoy is the Service Manager here at BDPNetworks. He moved from a level I engineer to a level II engineer (Senior Engineer) in a little over a year because he’s just that good. Jason has his BAS in Information Technology and Administrative Management from Central Washington University. He also has his AAS in Network Administration from Highline College where he met Melanie, who encouraged bringing him on board here. Prior to BDPNetworks Jason was the IT guy for a retail company and has brought over five years of internal IT department experience with him.
Jason lives in Federal Way and grew up in South King County. He has three roommates and they live in the house his grandfather built in the 1960’s. He’s the third generation to live in the home. The most recent roommate is Mungo, Jason’s Brazilian Mastiff/German Shepherd Mix dog. Mungo is still growing, but will be 120 lb. when full grown, and he rocks a sweet jerry curl mohawk! A self proclaimed computer nerd, when Jason isn’t busy at work he’s fixing computers and playing video games.
Jordan Ross – Service Engineer
Jordan Ross is a Service Engineer here at BDPNetworks. He’s advanced in the IT industry due to his genuine love and interest in IT, and his great service to clients. Jordan has held support and help desk positions, a Network Administration role and before joining BDPNetworks he was an Infrastructure Manager. Jordan also tends to geek out on cloud computing and is really into the cloud movement and computer networking (for fun even…)
Jordan is originally from Nebraska and after following his family down to Florida, he grew tired of the sun and warm beaches, and moved to Seattle with his wife, a Northwest native. Jordan and his wife have a Doberman named Duke and they enjoy all the outdoor activities that the Northwest has to offer. They hike, camp and Jordan’s even starting to get into fly fishing.
Brandi Hightower is our Service Desk Coordinator, helping to ensure our customers are well taken care of and helps to keep our response times as fast as possible! Brandi is currently a student at Central Washington University where she’s studying Information Technology and Administrative Management. She will graduate in June 2016. Brandi is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at CWU and she recently obtained her first Microsoft Certification.
In her spare time Brandi enjoys ‘outdoor stuff’ with her partner Amy and partner-in-crime Cupertino (a Boston Terrier). They enjoy paddle boarding, hiking and camping amongst other outdoor adventures. Brandi also enjoys constantly challenging herself in a variety of outlets including meet-ups, volunteering in her South Seattle neighborhood, hip-hop dance classes, playing the guitar and singing. Brandi was born and raised in Wenatchee, WA and is close with her family, including her 4 younger sisters.
Blake Perdue – Service Desk Technician
Blake Perdue is a Service Desk Technician here at BDPNetworks. He answers your calls and support tickets, and he makes sure your computer and network are running smoothly. He is also enrolled in the Network Support Technician program at Olympic College in Bremerton and will complete his certification in the Summer of 2017.
Blake lives in Bremerton and has for most of his life. Before joining BDPNetworks, Blake was providing tech support for friends and family. Blake has been “obsessed” with computers since he got his first PC in the 3rd grade.
When Blake isn’t busy at work he enjoys Tabletop Gaming- feel free to ask him about his D&D campaigns! Blake is also into music production. He creates his own orchestral music using virtual instruments. For now, it’s just for fun and a personal creative outlet.
In 2014 Blake ran his own Convention – GAMCON – the Gaming, Anime and Music convention – in Bremerton with over 600 attendees. The con was a lot of work and a great success, he’s hoping to do another GAMCON in the future!
Doug Strong is one of BDPNetworks’ fantastic Service Desk Technicians. He comes to us after a 5 year stint as an IT technician at Highline College, where he also obtained an AAS in Network Administration. His favorite part of working in this industry is the opportunity to learn about and work with new and exciting technology.
Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Doug grew up in Federal Way. In his spare time he enjoys messing around with Virtual Reality and working on German cars. A die-hard Star Wars fan, he has a dog named Chewie, and a second dog named Luna. In addition to his awesome tech skills, Doug also makes a mean Mac n’ cheese.
Aaron Huebner is a Service Engineer here at BDPNetworks. He has built his IT career from the ground up. Starting in 2006 Aaron founded his own IT services company providing technology services to both homes and businesses. After 6 years he sold the company and took a position as a tier II support technician in a larger company, managing cloud and virtualization environments.
Originally from the East Coast just outside New York City, Aaron moved out West to join BDPNetworks in their mission of delivering top notch service to the Seattle area. In his spare time Aaron loves to broadcast on Twitch.tv, an interactive social gaming platform. In doing so he is also studying the potential applications of self broadcasting as it expands into the business world.
